Valuable Gisele Bundchen
2009-11-19 Gisele Bundchen

(BANG) -

Gisele Bundchen has been named the world's most valuable model.

The Brazilian beauty - who is currently expecting her first child with husband Tom Brady - topped US website The Daily Beast's annual list, which took into account multi-year contracts, advertising campaigns, runway appearances and magazine covers.

Gisele beat Kate Moss into second place, while others in the top 10 included new mother Adriana Lima, Christy Turlington and Miranda Kerr.

The website said of the list: "We considered four tenets to illustrate a model's visibility and success - multi-year contracts, advertising campaigns, runway appearances, and magazine covers. Those with retail licensing deals, including Kate Moss and Gisele Bundchen, got credit for those estimated annual earnings, as well. Annual income from contracts, primarily negotiated by large cosmetic companies and Victoria's Secret, were weighted 40 per cent because they are the most difficult to get, bear the largest salaries, and indicate a very high level of success."
