Resident Evil 5

The original scary game to make us cower behind the couch, which probably explains why they’ve lasted 13 years and counting, also being turned into movies. What creatures attack you? Hmmm try flesh-eating zombies, zombie dogs and giant spiders. Sweet.

Dead Space 2

Survival horror at its finest – Isaac Clarke is space engineer and boy is he lonely out there on the abandoned space station with only the thoughts of his dead girlfriend haunting him. Oh wait, there are Necromorphs (mutated corpses) to keep him on his toes! They run out you with their scythe-like arms. Oh, and there are necromorphs with babies faces. YELP!

F.3.A.R

Here’s a little about this scary game – yes, they give you man pads to wear while playing it, because it’s so scary you’ll shit yourself. You play as one of two brothers - Point Man, a genetically enhanced super-soldier or Paxton who’s paranormal, can possess people and is psychic. Your aim? Stop your psychotic Mum who’s about to give birth to something that could destroy the world. EW.

  Hey guys. Out of the scariest games you have picked i would have to say Resident Evil 5 but my own game ( for the pc only ) i would have to choose would have to be Amnesia: The Dark Descent. Go check it out. You are hunted down by mutated monsters, and it will make you s$#t your pants. Lol.

  My most scariest game for a bit of nostalgia is DOOM when it was released on the original playstation. I was 6 at the time and my Dad and Uncle use to love playing it. Still remember those float red balls with a one eye coming straight for my face

  I always thought the Project Zero (aka Fatal Frame) games were the scariest because it set up an atmosphere of helplessness. In most horror games you're some badass with a shotgun; in Project Zero, you're a little girl and your weapon is a camera. 'nuff said
