Have you ever received a gift that was more trouble than it was worth?
Today we chatted about nuisance presents. These are the presents that are more trouble than they are worth like Hamish's mate who received a fishbowl without the fish or our listener who hates mushrooms but got a mushroom growing kit!

I have always been a wake up early chrissy morning and suss out the size and weight of presents WAY before anyone else was awake. This one year I got copped a beauty of my sister a HUGE box that would of weighed at least 5kg. I remember jumping at the chance of opening it when the family had gathered to find this huge present from my sister was cans of cat food to disguise the real present of a shitty leather watch BAND....my god i still get her presents like blades of grass to this day

and as if i'm gonna smell the scented ones coz sniffing candles looks weird. it gives me headaches! -_-
another one is sand. my 26 year old cousin gave me sand and said that it was from a famous beach. that's great but wat the hell am i gonna do with a jar of sand? it looked dirty and there was a small dead crab in there which was disgusting!

When I was around 5-6 years old, I received a present from my dad's friend which was this HUGE bike. It was too big for me to even ride on it.

And so, my dad still forced me to ride the huge bike. My legs weren't even long enough to peddle. -

Jewellery. People are always giving me jewellery for Christmas and my birthdays. You'd think they would all notice that I never wear any (or if I do, I wear one special necklace), but no they don't. And I always get jewellery for gifts.

After making sure my friends knew how I felt about self gratification. (YUK) they then went out and brought me a "TOY". It is still in it's box (pardon the pun). I'm trying to give sufficient time before I toss it. (but I'm scared my siy old boy will find it.)
