Sick of Being Single - Date 4 Dan 6 June, 2008 - 9:44 AM

So it was my final date and didn't know what to expect from this evening... But it turned out well.

Date 4 (Ryan) was early and waiting for me to arrive. I arrived just as our transportation arrived. A gorgeous silver Chrysler stretch Limo... Oh My God! It was amazing. I had never seen or been in anything like it before in my life. I think Ryan felt the same.

We took a lovely scenic drive through Kings Park, but to be honest I never saw a thing. Ryan and I were talking way too much to notice the scenery. It was so much fun. We were having a great time. I was enjoying the wine, by myself and when I asked if he was going to join me he said no! I asked why, I had too and he said he didn't drink. This automatically got my attention; my little brain was ticking over thinking and wondering why, so I had to ask why... And that is when he told me he was a Mormon.  Wow! I didn't see that one coming. Anyway this didn't change the mood at all. We were having way too much fun.

We arrived at this little Pizzeria and had fun as soon as we arrived. Unfortunately we never got to make our Pizza's, which I was looking forward to but hey, you get that sometimes. But we laughed and talked and ate great pizza, and we even danced to Frank Sinatra. It was in every way a fantastic night, but it wasn't a date. We were 2 friends hanging out having fun.

Ryan is funny, smart, interesting and a really great guy. He is lovely! Only... I wasn't attracted to him in that way at all! However we established right from the start that we were going to be friends. We both said at the end of the night... "I think this is the start of a beautiful friendship!" And it is.

  You go Dan! don't listen to that garbage about being picky, you should never ever settle for second best or for someone who your just not physically attracted to, cause trust me, you will seriously regret it in the future. And by the way, I agree with Karl, I think your mr security guy is looking so much more tempting, as I've seen what he looks like and he IS extremely HOT!

  good luck Dan. Going on the guys who have taken you out, you very much need it, especially the last one, how dodgy does he look!! Arnt there any decent looking guys youve got to choose from? They all seem old and cheezy! Wheres all the tall, dark handsome aussie guys with a bit of muscle and hunky looks! Come on 92.9, give her something decent to get excited about!

  Mona u need to be less critical of ryan even if u have had experience with him before or is it the mormon factor. let others make their own judgement on whether or not to go there.

  I don't know what Mona is talking about - I happen to know Ryan very well and if you knew him you wouldn't be saying that - Dan was spot on with her blog.
