Entire City Helps Make 5-Year-Old Cancer Patient’s “Batkid” Wish Come True

A young boy with leukaemia who wished to “be a real Batman” not only got his wish but he had the support of a whole city behind him who helped make it happen.


Miles Scott had the time of his life when San Francisco was turned into Gotham City for a day and he got involved in some real Batman action, with an estimated crowd of 12,000 fans cheering on him on.

The adorable 5-year-old, dubbed “Batkid”, had been battling with cancer since he was 18-months-old and while he is currently in remission, the Make-A-Wish Foundation went all out to make his dreams come true.
