Is This Man 160 Years Old?
Dhaqabo Ebba says he remembers 1895.
An Ethipian farmer is claiming to be the oldest man in the world - clocking in at around 160 years old.
This man's name Dhaqabo Ebba isand he lives in Dodla District in Ethiopia.
A local TV reporter Mohammed Ademo interviewed the retired farmer and was so blown away by all the local historical knowledge the man knew - he's convinced he must be 160 years old.
160 is 46 years older than the oldest ever recorded man.
Mr Ebba claims to remember the year 1895.
"When Italy invaded Ethiopia I had two wives, and my son was old enough to herd cattle," he said during the interview. He also told about travelling for eight-days on horseback to Addis Ababa - a journey of a few hours in modern times.
Of course because of where he is from, there are no records or any way of verifying Dhaqabo's age - their tradition is of oral record keeping.
The journalist says that in this area, "every time an elder dies, a library is lost. Ebba is one such library from whom so much can still be preserved".
There are plans to try and confirm Ebba's age via medical technology.
Check out the video - you won't be able to understand what he's saying but you can make a decision about how old you think he is!
