Game Of Thrones Tops Emmy Nominations

One of the biggest TV shows of all time Game of Thrones has topped the nominations for the Primetime Emmy awards.


The epic fantasy series has received an amazing 19 nominations, including for best drama series, followed closely by Fargo with 18 nominations.

The other awesome shows competing for best drama series are Breaking Bad, Mad Men, House of Cards, True Detective and Downton Abbey… tough choice!

It’s no surprise that the HBO megahit show has been recognised across so many categories, including supporting actor (Peter Dinklage), supporting actress (Lena Headey) and guest actress (Diana Rigg) in a drama, as well as writing (David Benioff and D.B. Weiss) and directing (Neil Marshall) for a drama.

The 66th Primetime Emmys show will be held in Los Angeles on Monday, August 25, when we’ll find out just how many of the 19 nominations Game Of Thrones wins.
