Halloween calls for creative, fun and often ridiculous costumes and over the years we have seen Hollywood choose some doozies! Think Kim Kardashian’s sexy Poison Ivy from 2011 or Heidi Klum, well, every year!

As ridiculous as they are, it is unsurprising that scandal magnet Chris Brown has caused a little fire with his choice of 2012 Halloween costume.

Dressed in what can only be described as an Arab terrorist getup, the rapper seemed to think it appropriate to tweet pictures of him and his crew wielding fake beards and machine guns.

A far cry from the incredibly charming celebs out there that chose to dress up with their families. Personal favourites include How I Met Your Mother stars Neil Patrick Harris and his young family as the characters from Wizard of Oz, or the unbelievably adorable Alyson Hannigan dressing her whole family in colourful dragon costumes!

To add to the controversy Chris added the caption “Ain’t nobody F**king wit my clique!!!!#ohb,” a reference to the song “Clique”, before arriving to party it out with ex-girlfriend Rihanna at the bash she threw in West Hollywood.

Despite the provocative choice of outfit, some have come out in defence of Chris’s choice, including his mother, Joyce Hawkins, who has chimed in with a tweet or two

His Halloween costume choice is not the only drama to surround old Chris this week! In court yesterday Chris’s lawyer reprimanded him for talking out of place with the hilarious “I don’t dance, you don’t talk”. Even the judge piped in with a little snark.
