Nadya “Octomom” Suleman has taken herself off to rehab for what she has described as a dependency to anti-anxiety medication Xanax.

Octomom has announced that she entered Chapman House Drug Rehabilitation Center in Southern California over the weekend to try to manage her stress without the assistance of the controversial medication.

Her 14 children have been allegedly split between 3 nannies and 2 friends. As it turns out the team of carers are apparently relishing some Octo-free time! Although the provocative mother has been calling regularly with care instructions, one of the nannies has come out and said what a breeze it has been compared to when the controlling Octo is breathing down their necks!

The children seem to have transformed from unruly, unmanageable monsters, to calm, polite, well behaved little people, and the nannies are taking full responsibility!

Octomom is expected to remain in rehab for the standard 30 days over which time her bevvy of children will be allowed to visit under supervision.

Noticeably absent from the long list of carers are Nadya’s parents. Earlier this week, it came to light that Nadya’s father has been concerned about her ability to look after her children with her drinking (and driving) habits of late. His concerns about his daughter seem to have emerged suspiciously close to her announcement of rehab.

In any case, Octo’s time in rehab will hopefully help her gain control of her life and back to her many, many children!
