Frankenstorm AKA Hurricane Sandy Hits New York
It's chaos in the United States as monster storm Sandy arrived along the heavily populated east coast.
With the perfect combination of high seas, full moon tides and strong winds, New York City and surrounding areas have experienced severe flooding and water damage. The damage bill from the category one storm is expected to be in the billions.
The hurricane is so severe that it has even halted campaigning for the upcoming presidential election.
