Emma Watson and Douglas Booth Say Russell Crowe Had To Bribe The Extras On Noah
Emma Watson says filming ‘Noah’ was long, grueling, and cold
Emma Watson and Douglas Booth have admitted ‘Noah’ was a physically demanding movie.
Turns out Russell Crowe developed hypothermia during filming and Emma Watson even said it was long, grueling hours on set.
Douglas Booth revealed they were throwing 5,000 gallons of water down on the crew per minute, so not only was it cold, but they were soaking wet.
Apparently Russell Crowe started raffles for flat screen TVs and played loud rock music during filming to keep the extras pumped up – as they were all freezing cold and soaking wet!
Emma Watson has told Pop Sugar she found it hard to portray a young mother – as she’s never had a child herself. And she found it “emotionally exhausting” to portray a woman in pain all the time.
Her and Douglas agreed that their on screen energy was easy as they’ve been good friends for several years.
