The world is still mourning the tragic passing of Oscar-winning actor Philip Seymour Hoffman.

Hunger Games fans were left wondering yesterday if it would affect the release of the upcoming movies. (Philip played the role of the head gamemaker, Plutarch Heavensbee).

A source has revealed that although he had 7 days remaining to shoot the movies, it won’t affect  the release dates.

The director of the series said in a statement on behalf of the cast and crew that “words cannot convey the devastating loss we are all feeling right now… Philip was a wonderful person and an exceptional talent, and our hearts are breaking.”

It's also just come out that Hoffman apparently spent $10,000 a month on heroin, and between 40 and 50 bags of the drug were found in his apartment.
