Caleb Chats With Ben
Like any good story, Big Brother has a beginning, middle and end. I think it is fair to say that no-one really knows what the ending will be, which makes this season all the more interesting.
In previous years where the public could Vote to Evict, we saw Housemates like Tim and Tully pack their bags. Now that these polarising characters are safe as houses, it is the likeable Aussie males getting the boot.
Caleb would have won Big Brother in every season where the original format was vote-to-evict. After all, he is a lovely larrikin with a heart of gold – recalling past winners like Trevor.
Now the Big Brother audience really has to think about who will win, as it’s not a “nice person” game anymore. The show is far more interesting this way!
What will those sugar sisters do now that their bleach blonde prince has left them? I don't think it will be the same for them without his love and affection.
Tim took the biggest leap of faith and made Big Brother history. By putting himself up for Nomination and he proved to the rest of the Housemates that he really isn't just a joker, but also the king of the castle.
Heidi isn't going to love this latest advance in Tim's attempt to control the house. I think that Heidi and Tim are going to need some serious marriage counseling after this week!
This week saw Tully starting to gain some positive momentum in the lead up to the latest eviction, which I am sure won't be the ongoing trend after she was at the centre of the biggest relationship controversy in the history of Big Brother!
She has turned her back on her outside relationship and gone after resident hunk Drew. The audience didn't know what to say when all the housemates started to discuss Tully's sexuality. I also didn't know where to look when the doona covers started moving.
In the end we all knew what was happening when Drew and Tully locked lips. Sealed with a kiss, Tully's now ex-girlfriend might be watching X Factor now that their relationship has the Ex-Factor! Who could blame her!
This week we will see an 'election' and 'rock band tournament.' The winner of both competitions is clearly anyone's guess. I know one of these competitions is for entertainment. So I wish both teams the best of luck with no bias!
