Kate Middleton and Prince William's Official Royal Family Photo Released
Prince George is a "bit of a rascal"
After being leaked on twitter 3 hours early, the official family photo of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their bouncing baby boy has been released.
The photo was taken by Kate's dad Michael Middleton in early August and shows the happy couple casually sitting on the grass holding their newborn bub George, surrounded by family pets. Prince George was born on July 22.
William recently conducted his first interview since the birth of Prince George, whom he described as "a bit of a rascal".
"So he either reminds me of my brother [Harry] or me when I was younger. I'm not sure. But, he's doing very well at the moment. He does like to keep having his nappy changed, and... I did the first nappy."
William said their take on Royal parenthood is more progressive than in the past.
"Where I can be I am as independent as... I want to be. And same as Catherine and [Prince] Harry. We've all grown up differently to other generations. And I very much feel if I can do it myself I want to do it myself," he said.
"And there are times when you can't do it yourself and the system takes over or it's appropriate to do things differently. But, I think driving your son and your wife away from hospital was really important to me. And I don't like fuss so it's much easier to just do it yourself."
Like any new parent, the night feeds can take their toll.
"A little bit," he said. "Not as much as Catherine. But... she's doing a fantastic job."
