Australians In Fatal Bali Boat Explosion

A fast boat heading from Bali to the Gili Islands has exploded – leaving two dead and 14 injured.


The Gili Cat 2 fastboat is believed to have been carrying 35 passenders when the explosion occurred. 

One Indonesian and on Dutch person have been confirmed dead. 

Tourists on board included Australian, Korean, British, French, and German citizens, according to media.

The boat was about 200m from the Bali shore when it exploded. The victims have been evacuated to a clinic in Manggis Village.
