Doggy Dramas Leave Victorians Barking Mad
Minister uses private car to ferry pet dogs!
Some red faces in Labor's ranks, with a Victorian politician fessing up to using his tax-payer funded car to privately drive his two dogs between his city and country homes!
Corrections Minister Steve Herbert has admitted, it was a 'mistake' to order his driver to chauffeur 'Patch' and 'Ted' around 100kms between his Parkdale and Trentham properties, while he was at work.
The state opposition's called for the minister to quit over the doggy dramas, "this minister should go. This minister has been caught rorting the system," Mr Guy told reporters on Thursday."
But Premier Daniel Andrews is standing by the Corrections Minister, "the wrong thing has been done here (But) the minister's been very clear about that - he's apologised for it," the premier told ABC radio.
