Ghosts of convicts and publicans have apparently been seen and heard in the hallways and cellar of this hotel, which dates back to the early 1840s and is WA’s oldest trading hotel. The case of “Charlie the bullock driver”, a ghost who supposedly haunts the hotel, has been investigated by multiple Australian TV shows.
Old Fremantle Prison
With a history that dates back to the 1850s, it’s no surprise that this is one of the most haunted spots in WA. The prison is said to still be home to the ghosts of some of the prisoners who were executed here

Fremantle is a bit of a haunting hotspot. Another place to visit in you’re hoping to see a ghost is this former asylum, which was built in the 1860s. People have reported sudden drops in temperature, the feeling of being kissed by a pair of phantom lips and some even claim to have seen a ghostly lady walking around the corridors.
