We're officially only 5 Sundays from Christmas, so it seems like a good time to really get into the Christmas spirit.

What better way than with an awesome Christmas cocktail? We've found the 5 best recipes, why not try one every Sunday in the lead up!

Choc Peppermint Stick
Few things say CHRISTMAS more than a candy cane. This little beauty tastes exactly like you’d expect it to. Cocktails count as dessert, right?

What you'll need:
45mls white crème de cacao
1 shot of cream
1 shot of peppermint schnapps
What to do: Shake well with ice, strain ingredients and serve in a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a small peppermint candy cane, crush and sprinkle if you’re into that too!

Jack Frost Cocktail
It's hailed as the Christmas piña colada and we're definitely sold. Just look at that colour!

What you'll need:
1 cup pineapple juice
1/2 cup vodka or white rum
1/2 cup blue curacao
1/2 cup cream of coconut (not coconut milk)
3 ice cubes
2 tbsp sugar
1tbsp water
Shredded coconut of garnish
What to do: blend the cream of coconut, vodka, blue curacao, pineapple juice and ice until smooth. Microwave the sugar and water for a minute or until consistancy is thick but moveable. Use it to wet the rim of the glass then dip in shredded coconut (this stuff is optional but it looks pretty bloody swanky!).

Winter Wonderland Cocktail
If you're down for dreaming away this heat, this little beauty might just do the trick.

What you'll need:
1 shot of cream of coconut (different to coconut cream or milk)
45mls vanilla vodka
45mls crème de cocoa (get the clear one if you want it to look like milky goodness)
Ice
What to do: Pop it all in a cocktail mixer, shake your tail feather, strain and serve over ice.

The Santa Shot
A great drink to serve your guests as they arrive to really get the party started! Pre make, chill and serve when you’re ready.
