Beaming with absolute pride, new father Jay-Z has made his first public appearance since Beyonce gave birth to Blue Ivy Carter, attending the relaunch of his 40/40 club in New York City.

The who's who of the Big Apple rubbed shoulders with Jay-Z and his friends at the fancy schmancy sports bar, accepting congrats and thanks as he shook hands and made his way to the VIP section.

Speaking of hands, we couldn't help but notice the massive rock wrapped around his pinky finger - a blue sapphire ring which we believe is a thank you gift from Beyonce reportedly worth $500,000.
