David Beckham has revealed the real reason that he has been growing his beard out. He wants to be Wolverine for Halloween.

The 34-year-old UK soccer star who now lives in Los Angeles revealed: "Halloween is coming up and I was thinking of Wolverine from 'X-Men'. It's not some play-off ritual. I'm just lazy and can't be bothered to shave. And everybody keeps telling me to cut it and I'm stubborn."

Hasn’t David ever heard of wearing a fake beard? Even Hugh Jackman loses the Wolverine beard when it’s not completely essential.
