Ironically on her last tour in Serbia the singer was booed as a very visibly drunk Amy staggered around the stage.
Scotland Yard have yet to confirm the toxicology reports the family has seen.
With a new boyfriend, Reg Traviss, clearly in love with the singer, the knowledge that Amy was trying to get her life back on track away from the drugs makes her passing even more sad.
The mystery surrounding Amy's death comes as the VMA's get ready to honour the singer. Legendary singer Tony Bennett was one of the last people to record with the singer and will introduce the special segment whilst footage of the two plays.
How will you best remember Amy?
