Surprise Surprise! Katy Perry's Boy 'Does Mind It' Posted by Music 12 August, 2008 - 8:10 AM

Katy Perry, the star behind the mega-hit of the moment 'I Kissed A Girl', has revealed her boyfriend doesn't actually like her smooching the ladies. Bummer!

Talking to Kyle and Jackie O, the 23-year-old told them that since she released the lady-loving anthem "more girls want to kiss me, but I have my boyfriend and he doesn't really like it."

Of course, she's referring to her beau, Gym Class Heroes singer Travis McCoy.

The popstar is still shocked by the response to the song, which is simultaneously #1 here, in the US and the UK.

"I thought maybe it'd turn a couple of heads but I never thought grandmas and daughters alike would be singing along to it so it's pretty cool."

Ho hum, another chick using the whole bisexual angle for cheap thrills...

So much for being empowered... yawn.

She's kind of an embarrassment to women, but she's hot. :)

Go katy show the world thats it's okay!

To kiss a girl lol the song is great and i think its great that the she can openly say i kissed a girl. It's a good attitude so what if there are bisexuals, gays or lesbians out there if they like who they are thats all that matters!

I'm bisexual and my boyfriend knows that i kissed girls before and he dont mind if i do love ya katy!

it's not like she's claiming to be something she's not, so i wish people would stop saying that she's a shame to women or to lesbians. she clearly says that she's not going to go for chicks and she has a boyfriend right there in the song.

the idea of the song is to just relax, have fun and be open. there's nothing wrong with exploring yourself and your options - you never know if you dont give it a try. so just throw some caution into the wind and go for it! us girls are blessed with many a splendour

it could all be good fun but when she sings "you are my experimental game" I think that is a pretty lame attitude to have about a person. I mean the song's catchy and it's got a good beat and as for the message that people feel like it's saying just be open I say yeah - go for it - be curious check it out keep our boyfriend and titillate him with the idea of you maybe kissing a girl - totally fine - but play with people like the are toys or games that is just bad straight, bi-curious, bisexual or gay. bad news. bad idea. bad behavior. bad. period. not sexy bad or fun bad or cute bad or cool bad just bad.
