Pop bombshell Lady Gaga's currently in the country for a quick promo tour and the good news for Aussie guys is she's single - and loves an Australian accent!

"Aussie men have very sexy accents," the singer behind the massive club hit 'Just Dance' cooed in our exclusive online interview.

But blokes shouldn't get too ahead of themselves - Gaga (aka 22-year-old Stefania Germanotta) says it takes an ultra-confident man to reign in her wild streak.

"I like a guy that will take control, that will come after me. Of course I can go after guys but it takes a real strong man to handle me. I'm a bit wild."

"Plus I like a really smart guy. I like dating guys who are smarter than I am."

Gaga played her first Aussie show in Sydney last night, complete with her trademark fishnets, cloak and flashing wand.
