With all the red carpet appearances, engagements and girl pashing, it's easy to forget one thing about The Veronicas - they'll still yet to tour the pants off their smash hit album Hook Me Up.

Sure there was that little tour last December to coincide with the first single, but it's a fact not lost on the Brissie wonder twins (pictured here at the recent MTV Awards photocall).

Currently over in the US on an exhausting 28-date tour supporting Natasha Beddingfield, the girls recently revealed they're planning a homecoming tour later this year.

"We're hoping to be come back here to tour by the end of the year," explained Lisa in an online exclusive. "We definitely want to make it happen."

While the girls can't wait to play to their Aussie fans, Lisa admits touring is hardly as glamourous as it seems.

"Sometimes we tour around on a bus and you don't shower a lot - it's all a bit dirty. If one person gets sick, everyone gets sick, even though I guess that's fun in hindsight."

With the new album featuring a clubbier dance angle, Lisa says they've been more than happy with how it's been translating live.

"I think it's more rocking than our last album," says Lisa. "The boys in our band do a great job at recreating the whole vibe and the audience get really into it too."

2008 looks set to get even busier for the girls with more US dates to be announced soon, even if Lisa must remain tight-lipped for now. "It's with a very big act which is very exciting but I can't disclose just yet but it's going to be a pretty huge deal."
