Pink To Perform At The ARIA Awards! Music 2 September, 2008 - 9:39 AM

Pink fans, get ready to scream! You've all been loving her new single 'So What' but that's nothing compared to the news the pop superstar will be performing it live at this year's ARIA Awards.

That's right - Pink will be in the country!

She'll be joining the cream of the Aussie crop for the awards ceremony at Sydney's Acer Arena on Sunday October 19.

While she's not an Aussie, it's more than fitting for Pink to be at the ARIAs. She was Australia's biggest selling international recording artist of 2006/7 with her album I'm Not Dead, which went ten times platinum! Plus her I'm Not Dead 2007 Australian tour sold over 300,000 tickets, making P!nk the biggest-selling female touring artist in Australian history.

The nominees for the 28 ARIA Awards are announced on Wednesday September 10 in Sydney. And without rockers like Silverchair, Powderfinger and John Butler Trio in the running (they released albums last year), we're predicting a bit of a popfest with The Veronicas, Delta Goodrem, Vanessa Amorosi and more all in contention.

  Pink Rocks. I can't wait until she comes back to oz. she is a world wide idol, that many people look up to and try to be like... She does amazing perfomances and just about eveyone can relate to her songs.... Can't wait to see her again!!!!

  I saw Pink live in Perth and it was the best concert I have EVER been too, I have loved her since her first album which I owned on cassette!!!! She fuking rocks!!!!
