It's a Twilight love triangle! Okay, so not really. More like a Disney-country music-Twilight love triangle. We'll break it down for you.
Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner are getting it on. Seriously. They are. Match made in celebrity heaven, right?
There is just one little problem: Taylor Lautner's last celeb girlfriend was Selena Gomez, the little Disney poppet with the chipmunk cheeks. Their last date occured while Lautner was filming in Vancouver, about six months ago.
And Tay Swift and Selena? Yup, they're good friends. Which all means that this has the potential for one of our favourite things, drama.
So why should we care? In all honesty, we're both like a hundred years older (and a lot poorer) than most of the cast of Twilight and most Disney stars, so we should probably be busy doing adult things like shopping for sofas or paying bills instead of talking abut their love lives, but what can we say? It's like a teenage soap opera. We just can't help ourselves.
First of all, we are freaks for Taylor Swift. We saw her in the flesh for the first time at the 17 Again premiere earlier this year and she is gorgeous. Not to mention classy, adorable, and the writer of truly catchy country pop songs. We adore her.
Plus, who doesn't love a romance between two people with the same name? It's like the ultimate in celebrity narcissism or ego. Just think about it, you could be making out with someone and be able to say 'OH, TAYLOR, YOU'RE SO SEXY' and give yourself a self-esteem boost at the same time. It's totally creepy and totally fabulous. We haven't had a good same-name couple since Paris Hilton dated Paris Latsis, and a) that was ages ago, and b) it involved Paris Hilton so it was inherently gross and wrong.
Anyway, while the rest of the Twilight kids were at the wrap party for the latest movie - Twilight Eclipse - Tay Laut was in LA going to the hockey with Tay Swift, then onto the Beverley Hills Hotel. The two Taylors have also been catching up in Chicago while Tay Swift was on tour.
