Rating The Emmy Award's Red Carpet Posted by KiKi & Sassy 21 September, 2009 - 9:45 AM
Do you desperately want to find out who won awards at the Primetime Emmy’s today? Well you've come to the wrong section of the website. As far as we're concerned they should just give them all to the awesome Tina Fey, and use the rest of the time to judge people's outfits. Coincidentally, that's what we're about to do now. Let the judging begin!
Worst dressed of the night is a fairly tough call, but Hayden Panettiere from Heroes is right up there. Well done Hayden! You have proven to all of us that short women should never ever wear full-length bright red evening gowns with matching bright red lipstick. She looked like a particularly festive garden gnome.

The gorgeous Olivia Wilde - from House M.D. and The O.C. and a million other things - came dressed as some kind of ice-dancer, which is always upsetting. For future reference, dresses that involve that nude-coloured netting to hold them together are NEVER okay.
Leighton Meester from Gossip Girl wore a gorgeous white ruffled Bottega Veneta dress ... sadly it was the wrong size. Don't you think? Co-star Blake Lively came in damn sexy Versace gown but decided to wear her hair slicked back like a seal. Oh, honey, no. Doesn't she realise that the single greatest thing about Serena Van Der Woodsen is her amaaaaazing hair? Without her mane of extensions Blake kinda looks like a wealthy cougar prowling the Emmys for a younger man. Never ever do that again, thanks Blake.

Kim Kardashian must have thought it was a costume party, because she came dressed as Jennifer Lopez-circa-2001. Or maybe it was a retro-themed ceremony this year? That would explain why Jennifer Love Hewitt was invited, because the year 2001 is the last time she was relevant in ANY way.

We honestly can't even remember what Heidi Klum wore, but dammit if she isn't the most pregnant woman we have EVER seen. Is it just us, or is she pregnant pretty much all the time now?
As for the men, the boys did WELL. Best dressed has to be a tie between the incredible Neil Patrick Harris and that hot bitch Simon Baker in his adorable bow tie (their prize is kisses from us). And special honourable mentions go to LL Cool J, wearing a fierce velvet hat, and Chris O'Donnell. It makes us happy he has a job again.
Now, FINALLY, our picks for best-dressed: January Jones looking like an ice princess, and Rose Byrne in a mass of tulle. Who's yours?

The ice skating style dress was definitely the worst! Poor Olivia...not a good choice.
