Remember when we wrote about how much we love celebrities who just come right out and say whatever they’re thinking, no matter the consequences? First it was Anna Wintour blabbing about Oprah being a fattie, now it’s Transformers 2 star, Megan Fox, ripping into….well, half of the population of America.

Ms Fox revealed her rather imflammatory views to Total Film UK magazine. When asked how she would deal with Transformers 2 villain, Metatron, she says “I’d barter with him… and say instead of the entire planet, can you just take out all of the white trash, hillbilly, anti-gay, super bible-beating people in Middle America?”

WOAAAAAH!

Damn girl, those are some fightin words. Especially when you’re the star of a huge summer movie that relies on the very people you’re bagging out to bring in the box office dollars. Kind of a risky move! Having said that, we say …. good on her. Being card carrying lefties ourselves, we loathe the rampant homophobia that often exists in the conservative states of the USA.

Being children of the 80s, we eagerly awaited the release of the first Transformers movie. Kiki  wore the treasured 1983 Transformers t-shirt she scored on Ebay to a screening and everything. As Megan was playing the obiligatory ‘hot girl in action movie’, we were expecting to kinda detest her, but damnit the girl surprised us.  Despite being the personification of sexy, she was also oddly likeable

It helps she has the infinitely awesome Shia LaBeouf to play off, but still, she has a certain mojo that we are totally into. Now she’s running her mouth all over the place, it makes us heart her even more.

What do you guys think of Miss Fox? And are you as excited for Transformers 2 as us? WE LOVE YOU OPTIMUS PRIME!

  Probably not a good career move but I applaud the sentiment. I believe they call the area between the west and east coasts, "the great wasteland", for her sake hope nobody from there reads Total Film UK.

  Megan Fox is sort of vile. Yes, she said some cool things about white trash, but this is also the girl who said "I forget to flush the toilet. Friends will tell me, “Megan, you totally pinched a loaf in my toilet and didn’t flush.”"
