Terri - the 52 year old Nanna from Sydney has whizzed past her younger house mates to take out the title of Big Brother Winner 2008!

Should Rory have won the title ... or was it fair that Nanna Terri took home the cash?

  i would have prefered if Rory or Ben won. I think the second time they showed the faces on the % was wrong, they said they wouldnt but because Terri was in danger they showed it anyway becuase BB wanted Terri to win. But at least she is deserving. I just wanted Rory to win, and then Ben.

  I'm happy Terri won but sad Rory didn't... I wanted him to win but I think it's better that way as Rory will go on to have many opportunities I can't imagine Terri getting into radio, acting or modelling but Rory could well fit into something in the media. Goodluck to all of them!

  Im glad Terri won the money, she deserves it, went through enough to win. Rory will probably get enough money through one of those magazines. He is young and has plenty of time to make some money. Go Terri!!!

  From the first week of big brother, it was clear that BB wanted Terri to win! The further the series went, the comperes of Friday Night Live and Kyle and Jackie were promoting Terri as the one who should win the show and this is what they were projecting to the audience. After showing the photos and vote percentages on the final show, they as good as said, "you got to vote against both Rory and Ben if you want Terri to win". Also, how can we really believe that BB accurately informed the audience of the percentages. I was so ANGRY when Terri was announced the winner, I turned off the television in total disgust! The show could not have been anymore rigged! SHAME ON YOU BB & CHANNEL 10 !!!!!

  I was so devistated that Rorza didnt win, I sat widemouthed for ages saying that if Big Brother ever returns I wont be watching it. Terry was a gorgeous lady that i think would have been happy for Rorey to win. He is a hard working loving boy that touched my heart by his kindness to all the house mates, including Terry. There can only be one winner, but at the very least the hostes should have presented Rorey with his winnings on television as they did for every housemate. Shame on you Kyle and Jackie!

  I think it is unfair for Terri to win. She was brought back to the house when this was never happened to any evicted housemate in the past. On the last show, they were showing the % with actual photos of the final 3, that was not fair to any of those three. It was so clear that BB just wanted Terri to win. I don't understand why but that is disgusting! It would have been a much better results if Rory or Ben won.

  I just loved Terri from the word go. I'm 43, single mum, and see a lot of waywardness and searching in many of the house contestants each year. Having Terri in there this year made a big job for her, but she did what I hoped she'd do, and that was to a) inspire the younger people that age can be seen as a gift that offers wisdom, patience, and understanding and great learning towards and about each other. Terri gave those housemates so much, including stability, maturity, wakeup calls, and hello some of them (Brigitte) needed them and needed a REAL mum (someone who genuinely knows and understands how to give in the role of mother). I'd say the housemates this year were pretty lucky, thanks to Terri. She earned every penny of the winnings, putting up with the likes of Brigitte-who-was-horrid. Terri, you're lovely as you are but if cosmetic surgery makes you feel more like the You that is who You are then you go for it girl. You've got this life to be free in and Enjoy, so go your hardest my lovely and have a Great Time !
