A spinal injury resulting in emergency surgery has forced Shannon Noll to leave Dancing With The Stars.
The singer now faces six weeks worth of rehab - and Noll hopes that he'll recover in time for his national tour.
In an interview with the Kyle and Jackie O Show, Noll detailed the extent of his spinal problems, namely caused by a bulging disc and resulting in tremendous pain. Listen below.
Noll also thanked his fans for their support on Twitter.

Noll is the first ever contestant to withdraw from the Australian edition of the show.

In the latest installment of "Celebrities Are Just Like Us", we realise that Miley Cyrus bleeds, just like us.
The singer was carted to hospital by her mother Tish, grandmother Ruth and boyfriend Liam Hemsworth with her left index finger heavily wrapped with a white bandage.

The culprit? Apparently a blender.

Aussie songstress Vanessa Amorosi is in hospital after falling from her horse on Wednesday.
Initially discharging herself after 12 hours, Amorosi is now back in hospital after still feeling unwell. She is currently undergoing tests and will have to spend another week in hospital under observation.
Due to the injury, Vanessa has had to cancel her weekend appearance at the Melbourne Zoo. Read her statement here...

Not wanting to leave his fans in the dark, Jason Derulo has filmed a video letting everyone know how he was getting along after sustaining that neck injury a few weeks back.
Almost disappearing amongst a pile of flowers, balloons and toys, Derulo tells his supporters that "I wanted to make this video just to say thank you and to let you guys know that I'm OK."
"The hardest part about this whole thing is not the fact that I'm in pain or anything like that, it's just the fact that I had to cancel my first world tour. I was really looking forward to this obviously, and I was trying to formulate a cutting edge show that was unlike anything else and sometimes things don't go as planned and sometimes you know a fork gets put into the road."
" To all my fans who were coming I promise you it will happen very very soon and it will be even bigger and better than I planned this first time."
It's clear that Jason's not looking too comfortable in the neck brace and can't wait to ditch it!

The ‘Domino’ singer Jessie J has been booted off being the opener for Katy Perry on her California Dreams Tour (can you believe it’s still going?) and the reason being because she still booting herself after that ankle injury she sustained stacking it during rehearsal.
She took to twitter to vent:
“Having a cry about having to pull out of the Katy Perry tour. I am as upset as my #heartbeats (fans) believe me. My foot is just not healing as well as I hoped.”
You can’t rush your body Jessie! Although she seemed to manage boot-scooting on stage at Glastonbury! Perhaps it was against doctors orders.
Apparently the gutsy little British blonde Ellie Goulding will be stepping up to the plate to support Perry – if you haven’t heard her stuff, definitely check it out. She is one to watch!
