It seems singer Kesha has joined the legions of celebs using their fame for a cause! She's recently leant her voice to a campaign from the Humane Society of the United States.
The singer urges consumers to stop buying Canadian seafood because of their cruel behaviour towards seals.
“Every year, thousands of baby seals are clubbed to death by Canadian fisherman,” she says in a Youtube video. “You can help by pledging to boycott Canadian seafood.”
Kesha also supported a PETA campaign last year to bring attention to the annual slaughter of the baby mammals on the ice floes of Canada for their pelts.
